Our announcement regards the Regulation Regarding the Amendment to the Price Marking Regulation (“Regulation”) published in the Official Gazette dated September 18, 2018 and numbered 30539.
Regulation’s purpose is to determine the rules on retail goods and services’ such as form of labels, tariffs and price lists and the discounted sales.
According to the changes about the Regulation; it is stated as an obligation to show the effective date of the selling and the unit price of the goods, and the logos that determined by the Ministry of Trade for the goods which are manufactured in Turkey, on the price marking.
Moreover, the letters and numbers on the book of rates and price lists have to be legible and right, and should not contain misleading and deceptive information just as the price marking.
