CONVENTION ON MUTUAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANCE IN TAX MATTERS SIGNED TO CANNES AT NOVEMBER 3, 2011 TO BE CONSISTENTALLY APPROVED TOGETHER WITH THE TESTIMONY

The multilateral agreement "Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters" was signed by the Ministers of Finance during the leaders’ summit of the G-20 countries in Cannes, France, on 3 November 2011. The approval of the contract referred to by the Law No. 7018 published in the Official Gazette on May 20, 2017 The "Mutual Administrative Assistance Agreement on Tax Matters" aims to provide administrative assistance to taxpayers in signatory countries. Scope of administrative assistance:

  • Simultaneous tax reviews and exchange of information, including participation in foreign tax reviews
  • Assistance in collection, including protection measures
  • Notification of documents

Taxes covered by the contract in terms of Turkey; Income Tax, Corporate Tax and Value Added Tax.
