MITIGATION OF COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS IN MOSCOW

Starting from January 22, 2021, the mayor of the Russian capital cancelled part of the restrictions on the territory of Moscow as a result of improved COVID-19 situation. Cultural, entertainment, advertising and other events are reopened for the public. However, no more than 50% of the total capacity of visitors may be present at the venue. Theatres, cinemas and concert halls can be filled with spectators at a maximum of 50% (rather than 25%).

As of January 27, 2021, Moscow-based employers shall no longer pass at least 30% of their staff to remote work and provide respective reporting. However, employees over 65 years of age shall continue working in remote mode and the employers shall report accordingly. It is allowed to provide catering services and entertainment events from 23:00 to 06:00.
