MOROCCO: LAUNCH OF AN ONLINE PORTAL DEDICATED TO EMPLOYEES’ DELEGATES ELECTIONS

EMPLOYEES’ DELEGATES ELECTIONS

The Moroccan Ministry of Labor announced, on Friday 23 May, the launch of a special online portal for employees’ delegates elections in private sector, set up for the follow-up and the accompaniment of these obligations, and which are as follows:

From 10 to 20 June 2021


This applies to workplaces with at least 10 employees. Establishments with fewer than 10 employees can take part in these elections by virtue of a written agreement between the employer and the employees.

Article 463 of the Labor Code stipulates that failure to organize elections is punishable by a penalty of between 25,000 and 30,000 dirhams

In addition to the legal framework governing the elections for the year 2021, the portal includes various technical materials, including publications, directories, leaflets and awareness-raising spots, as well as an updated list of establishments employing not less than ten employees, classified according to their geographical distribution.
