The Federal Tax Service launched a new service that informs taxpayers about the risk of blocking their bank accounts due to failure to timely submit their tax returns. Companies and individual entrepreneurs applying general taxation regime can now see a new section in their accounts called "How the tax authorities see me".
The section contains information about two potential risks: (i) the risk of bank account blocking and (ii)- the risk of non-timely submission of tax returns based on historical data. Thus, the taxpayer, having missed the reporting deadline, will be able to immediately track this information as well as the number of days left until possible blocking of the account.
