REFUSAL TO GET VACCINATED AGAINST COVID-19 CANNOT BE A GROUND FOR EMPLOYMENT TERMINATION

Russian Ministry of Labor has recently confirmed the position of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare that the employees have the right to refuse vaccination against COVID-19. Until the chief state sanitary doctor of the region or his deputy decide that vaccination is mandatory for the citizens or certain groups of citizens and relevant regulations are issued in this respect, unvaccinated individuals cannot be terminated at work on this ground.
