The German Competition Authority, Bundeskartellamt, published guidelines on the conformity of cooperatives with competition law.
The guidelines focus on the background, aim and scope of the prohibition of anti-competitive agreements, delimit the scope of what cooperative activities and provide information on new forms of digital distribution and cooperation. The guidelines also take into account relevant decision of the Bundeskartellamt and the European Commission.
