Members of the European Parliament (MEP) adopted rules requiring that European Union (EU) institutions, organizations and agencies are subject to stricter personal data protection provisions. Related decision was announced in a press release issued from the Parliament's website. Personal data protection rules remaining from 2011 harmonized with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regarding this new rules.
