Entrepreneurs from the floriculture sector, the food horticulture and the French fries potato sector who are suffering (major) damage as a result of the corona crisis can already register with RVO as of today. The scheme can only be finalized after approval by the European Commission. In view of the speed, entrepreneurs can register with RVO in advance of the approval. These are companies that are faced with an acute drop in demand for perishable products during the high season, while the costs continue. Minister Schouten of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV) previously announced that he would make an extra 650 million available for this group. Of this, 600 million euros goes to the floriculture sector and food horticulture. The remaining 50 million euros will be made available to the chips potato sector.
