Entrepreneurs who live across the border (in the EU, EEA or Switzerland), who have their businesses in the Netherlands and who are in financial difficulties due to the corona crisis, can apply for a loan for working capital. As of May 18 this financial support can be requested from the municipality of Maastricht. Maastricht implements this scheme for the whole of the Netherlands.
The aid consists of an interest-bearing loan of up to € 10,157, which is intended to reduce liquidity problems. The interest rate on the loan is 2%. The loan must be repaid within 3 years, repayment is only required from 1 January 2021.
