The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate (EZK) contributes more than seven million euros to regional SME projects of provinces and municipalities, so-called SME deals. The granting of the aid is divided into two rounds. EZK officially signed nine first-round SME deals, together with the responsible regional administrators. This first round costs about 3 million euros.
From next week, provinces and municipalities can also register for the second round. The next series of SME deals will start in the fall of 2020. Provinces and municipalities have until 11 September 2020 to submit their proposals for the 2nd round via the website of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
