Further to the signature of a convention between the government, CNSS (Social Security Organization) and CGEM (General Confederation of Moroccan Companies) aiming to support companies affected by COVID-19 crisis, CNSS has just launched an internet portal dedicated to filing requests to beneficiate from the monthly allowance that will be granted, according to the first measure of the Convention, to employees of companies in total or partial shutdown, additionally to the compensations that are ordinarily paid to them.
In order to beneficiate of this allowance, going to CNSS agencies is not required, the process is completely dematerialized. Indeed, employer should go to the link “covid19.cnss.ma”; companies that are already adherent of DAMANCOM service (CNSS online declaration service) have to connect to their sessions, the others will be assisted to create a new session, their login and password will then be sent to them by email.
Once connected, the employer will have access to the list of employees declared in respect of February 2020, he will then have to select among this list those who are currently in temporary work stoppage. Finally, the employer has to formalize on the portal a declaration on honor certifying that difficulties encountered by his company are actually induced by Coronavirus pandemic.
