The Dutch government has decided to extend most measures until May 19.
Education and childcare
Schools in primary education, including special (primary) education, day care and childminder care open their doors on May 11. Children can go to out-of-school care (BSO) on the days they go to school.
Sport
From April 29, children and young people will have more space for organized outdoor sports and games (no official competitions). Children up to 12 years old can exercise together outside under supervision.Young people from 13 to 18 years old are allowed to exercise outside with each other under supervision, but with a distance of 1.5 meters between them. Top-class athletes can resume training at designated training locations if they observe a distance of 1.5 meters.
Elderly people living independently
From April 29, the following applies: elderly people aged 70 years and older who live independently can be visited regularly by one or two permanent persons.
Events
The current ban on events with a permit and notification obligation will be extended until 1 September.
