National Living wage to increase to £9.50 per hour. On 27 October 2021, the UK Chancellor made an announcement that  Government will  granted greater powers to ministers to introduce necessary Income Tax and NICs relief on employee expenses/benefits in the event of a future disaster or emergency of national significance.
