A bill expanding the scope of the Tax Free system in Russia was submitted to the Russian Parliament. If adopted, starting from January 01, 2021:
- the Tax Free system would work with any Russian companies and individual entrepreneurs;
- the Tax Free system would apply to certain excisable goods, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco;
- the minimum purchase price for VAT refund would be reduced from 10,000 to 5,000 rubles.
