Loss claims guarantee facility
As of March 18, 2020, the SME Agricultural Loans Guarantee Scheme (BL), in the context of the corona crisis, has been extended for agricultural and horticultural companies by means of a temporary credit facility to cover liquidity problems as a result of the corona crisis. The scheme has now also been extended to SME fisheries and aquaculture entrepreneurs. This extension of the scheme is expected to fit within the existing guarantee ceiling (€ 120 million). Despite this, more corruption loss claims are expected due to the corona virus. To this end, expenditure will be increased by € 2 million.
Contributions to agencies
Netherlands Enterprise Agency
The extension of the above-mentioned guarantee scheme due to the corona crisis leads to additional implementation costs by RVO.nl. Both obligations and expenditure will be increased by € 0.7 million.
Receipts
Guarantees
These receipts concern paid commission by entrepreneurs for guarantees issued to banks by LNV. The proceeds from these receipts are lowered by € 0.8 million in order to reduce the financing costs for entrepreneurs for this guarantee.
