Starting from July 12, small and medium sized businesses of most affected by the COVID-19 restrictions industries (e.g. catering services, hotels, fitness centers etc.) may apply for a subsidy to cover their expenses on coronavirus prevention activities.
To qualify for such aid the entity should be listed as a small/medium-sized enterprise as of June 10 and have its principle activity recorded as one of the specified economic activities codes (‘OKVED’) or maintain a tourist facility (small hotel, ski slope, beach). In addition, it also has to have its taxes and insurance premiums duly paid (no debts exceeding 3 000 as of June 1).
The amount of the subsidy is determined as 6 500 rubles per one employee + 15 000 rubles. The subsidy for individual entrepreneurs without employees is 15 000 rubles.
Applications are to be submitted from July 15 to August 15 inclusively, to the relevant tax inspection of the legal entity - either electronically or by registered mail. The decision is to be taken within 3 business days.
