On August 11, relevant amendments to the Environment Protection Law will take effect. It will concern businesses that use several facilities producing negative impact on the environment, some of which being subject to federal state environmental supervision, and others - to regional. Thus, such legal entities and individual entrepreneurs are at the same time audited by both Rosprirodnadzor and the regional executive authorities.
The newly amended law will reduce the administrative burden on such businesses. If at least one object is subject to federal state environmental supervision, then such supervision will be carried out in relation to all facilities of this entity.
