The Federal Service for labor and employment of Russia commented on the remuneration to be paid to an employee, who is temporarily transferred to a lower position within a company due to production needs. According to the Service, the rules of remuneration during temporary transfers are set only for a limited number of specific cases, such as, for example, emergency situations. Nevertheless, in any case, a temporarily transferred employee should be paid no less than the average salary for his/her main position.
