In the chapter on economy, OGB explains how the Moroccan economy had undergone a remarkable progress supported by the geographic location of the country and the availability of an efficient transport and logistics infrastructure linking economic centers to each other and to the rest of world. Are also described in this chapter, the advanced regionalization project as well as the measures introduced to improve access to credit and support SMEs.

The reform of the tax system, the major project of 2019 in Morocco, also occupies a prominent place in the new edition of the OBG report.
