Turkish Competition Authority (“TCA”) imposed administrative fines to Artı Marin Mobil Enerji A.Ş. (“Artı Marin”) and Mastervolt International Holding BV (“Mastervolt”) for preventing parallel trade.
The investigated the claim that Artı Marin and Mastervolt prevented Eltesan Mobil Teknoloji Sistemleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş.(“Eltesan”) from selling Mastervolt brand products to Turkey via parallel trade. As a result of the investigation, TCA determined that Mastervolt breached Article 4 of the Act No 4054 on the Protection of the Competition (“the Act”) by means of preventing parallel trade. No violation was found for the Artı Marin.

The completed investigation is the second one conducted against these undertakings with the same claims. TCA found no violation in the previous investigation conducted in 2016.
