TURKISH COMPETITON AUTHORITY REJECTED THE ACCESS TO THE FILE REQUEST OF AGT

Turkish Competition Authority (“TCA”) rejected the request of AGT Ağaç Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş to access the file. AGT requested to access the down-raid reports, the information request sent to the Association and the response letters, the notice of investigation sent to the Association, the first written defense of the Association and documents are relevant to AGT. TCA decided that:

• Down-raid reports, the information request sent to the Association and the notice of investigation sent to the Association, the first written defense of the Association is not relevant for AGT,
• The response letter of the Association prepared for information request of TCA is not non-accusative memorandum.

On these grounds, AGT’s request to access the file was rejected.
